Atlas, leading innovation as 1 of the first 5 Spanish companies certified as women-owned
On June 1st, the launch event of WEConnect International in Spain was held in Madrid and Atlas, as one of the first 5 companies certified as Women-Owned in our country, took part in a very interesting round table on women entrepreneurs with Atlas CEO and co-founder, Isabel Bustos.

For Atlas, this certification as a woman-owned business is a very important step towards achieving our international expansion goals. And events like this are the perfect forum to understand other realities, forge new relationships and open opportunities through the networking that is generated after the interventions.
As our CEO Isabel pointed out "just as we were pioneers with remote working before Covid and it is now a reality, women-owned certification will be a necessity for women-led companies in the near future. For that reason, and because I believe that being at the forefront of the diversity and inclusion movement is key to long-term success. It is important that all women-owned businesses become certified”.
Supporting female entrepreneurs
Until not so long ago there was hardly any support for women entrepreneurs but we are very happy to see that, thanks to companies like WEConnect International and government projects such as the Women's Institute, the trend is changing.
Let's not forget that the incorporation of women into the workforce accounts for 15% of the national GDP, so we will continue to fight to lead the change and participate in events like this to give visibility to the great work we women are doing.
