Background
Bord Bia, the Irish Food Board, launched an EU co-funded campaign to promote EU certified organic beef and lamb from Ireland in four European markets. There were two kick-off events: one in Germany, held at the prestigious Villa D1 in Düsseldorf, in which we brought together prominent figures, including Ireland’s Ambassador to Germany, Maeve Collins, and Minister for Agriculture, Pippa Hackett; and the other one in Belgium, for which we had the honour of being able to host it at the Irish Ambassador’s Residence, in Brussels.
These events emphasised the importance of this initiative in raising awareness for organic meat in markets like the German one, where organic food revenues have surged to €16 billion by 2023. The campaign arrives at a pivotal moment, aiming to capitalise on this momentum and solidify Irish organic meat’s presence across Europe.
Our work
Atlas Marketing Studio partnered with Bord Bia to craft and execute a strategic B2B campaign that positioned Irish organic beef and lamb as premium products in the German market. We implemented a multi-faceted approach that involved trade show exhibitions, specialized Meat Academy workshops, digital and print campaigns, and immersive experiences where German B2B customers were invited to witness Ireland’s pasture-based production system first-hand.
The inaugural event set the foundation for a three-year campaign that, from the outset, included participation in innovative events like the Rolling Pin Convention in Düsseldorf. The campaign will later expand into additional markets, including Belgium, Austria, and Sweden.
